I have a very Greek name to match my very Greek face. It’s Ersie (Herse), an ancient Greek name which means morning dew. In many languages they have a corresponding name such as Tally in Hebrew and Nada in Arabic. Ersie in mythology was the daughter of Kekrops, the first King of Athens, a mythical figure. She was the lover of Hermes, Mercury in Roman mythology, the messenger god. Morning dew has fertility connotations. Ersie was a priestess on Parthenon, the temple of Athena on the Acropolis. She was also a minor but beautiful Goddess.feed-icon32x32
